18 L Plastic Dustbin with Removable Double Swing Lid, Grey

The lid is the dirtiest part of a bin, and a lid fixed to the body can only be wiped. This one comes off in your hand.

What Are the Key Features of This 18 L Dustbin with a Removable Double Swing Lid?

• The lid lifts off in one piece: both swing flaps and the rim go under the tap together, so the dirtiest part of the bin is the part you can actually wash.
• Double swing flap: a nudge with the back of your hand opens it, which is what you need when the hand holding the rubbish is the dirty one.
• 18 L: a day or two of kitchen waste for a household, so the bag does not need changing every night.
• 1 kg empty: light enough for a child to take down to the bins, and light enough to carry to the sink with the lid still on it.
• Sturdy plastic with a smooth surface: nothing for grease or hair to catch on, so a damp cloth is all the cleaning it needs.

Where Can You Use This 18 L Plastic Dustbin?

• In a family kitchen, where 18 L is a day or two of waste
• In the gap beside the fridge
• Next to a desk in an office
• In a restaurant service corner
• In a bedroom or a bathroom

Why Is a Lid That Lifts Off Better than One Fixed to the Bin?

• The whole lid lifts off in your hand: the underside of a swing flap collects the drips from the bag and is the one place a cloth never reaches.
• It becomes an open bucket whenever you want one: for the big kitchen clean, when pushing every item through a flap is the slow way.
• 1 kg empty, plastic on a mopped floor: no rust where the wet mop touches, no dent from a knock, and one-handed to the tap.
