Dishwasher-Safe Plastic Oil Dispenser Bottle 700 ml with Handle

The oil tin lives on the floor beside the stove because it is too big for the counter, and every pour out of it leaves a ring on the tiles.

What Are the Key Features of This 700 ml Dishwasher-Safe Oil Bottle?

• Dishwasher safe, which oil bottles rarely are: it goes in with the plates, so the film on the neck is washed off.
• A leakproof, airtight lid: air is what turns oil rancid, and a real seal is the difference between oil that keeps and oil you end up pouring away.
• 9 cm deep: it stands in the strip between the hob and the wall so it does not take working space on the counter.
• 700 ml you can see through: the transparent body shows the level without lifting, and shows when the oil has gone cloudy.
• A handle, so the pour is controlled: 800 g full and held properly pours a thin line across a pan.

Where Can You Use This Oil Bottle?

• Standing in the narrow strip between the hob and the wall
• Out at a barbecue
• Packed for a chalet
• A working kitchen where the same bottle is picked up all day long
• Vinegar, lemon juice or soy sauce: the other liquids poured little and often

Why Is This Oil Bottle Plastic and Not Glass, Despite What Some Listings Say?

• Dishwasher safe, inside and out: the sticky film down the neck comes off properly, so you refill a clean bottle instead of pouring onto old oil.
• Plastic, with no heat claim made: it is sometimes called glass elsewhere, but it is plastic, so it will not break if it slips from an oily hand.
• Transparent, so you read the level: and you see when the oil has gone cloudy, the first sign it has been in there too long.

Details

Material & Build

• Plastic. It is not a glass body, and no heat or temperature claim is made.
• Lid: leakproof and airtight.
• Also holds vinegar, soy sauce, lemon juice and other kitchen liquids.

Dimensions

• Capacity: 700 ml. A little under a standard retail bottle of sunflower oil, so a refill leaves a remainder behind. Pour that into the next refill so you do not keep two bottles open at once.
• 15 x 20 x 9 cm: the 9 cm is the depth, and it is what lets the bottle stand between the hob and the wall and off the working part of the counter, while the 20 cm of height clears most wall cupboards.
• Weight: 800 g full.

Colours

• Transparent grey: the only finish sold.
