9 L Stainless Steel Swing Lid Bin for Under a Desk or Bedroom

The bin beside a desk fills faster than the one in the bathroom and weighs less when it does. Paper takes room without taking weight.

What Are the Key Features of This 9 L Bin's Round Steel Body?

• 9 L: bigger than a bathroom bin because paper and packaging fill a bin fast, smaller than a kitchen bin because it has to live under a desk.
• Swing flap: opens with the back of your hand and closes itself, which is what a bin opened twenty times a day needs instead of a pedal or a lift-off lid.
• Stainless steel body: it keeps its round shape under chair castors and a weekly vacuum, and a body that stays round is a flap that keeps swinging true.
• Nothing porous to hold a smell: steel wipes back to clean where a scratched plastic bin keeps whatever leaked into it.
• 1.32 kg empty: you move it aside with one hand to clean under the desk and put it back without thinking about it.

Where Can You Use This 9 L Stainless Steel Swing Bin?

• Under a desk, where a week of paper and packaging collects
• At a bedside
• Behind a shop counter
• In the corner of a bedroom or a children's room
• In a bathroom or a small office

Why Is 9 L an Odd Size Between a Bathroom Bin and a Kitchen Bin?

• 9 L is a deliberately odd number: envelopes, packaging and printouts crumple up big and weigh nothing, so a bathroom bin overflows in days.
• Still small enough to live under a desk: it holds a week of paper without spilling over the rim and never becomes furniture.
• A flap beats a pedal here: opened many times a day, it moves under the back of a hand with nothing to step on.
